Project Description
42 Abu Dhabi is a project being developed by the Department of Education and Knowledge. The facility is a unique, nonprofit and tuition-free computer coding school employing a project-based curriculum where students rely on peer learning.
Situated in the heart of the former Mina Industrial Zone, the project involves the refurbishment of three former warehouse buildings. The school will be open 24/7 with a capacity of 250 students. Peer pedagogy is at the center of the design for the new campus, where learning spaces are clustered around a central courtyard and plenty of casual meeting spaces that stimulate creative interactions between the students
This project is part of the Ghadan 21 programme initiative by the Government of Abu Dhabi. Al Tayer stocks have been commissioned to design, procure and build this state-of-the-art facility.
